Brandyne Erick Jones, 37, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away on October 15, 2025. Born on August 23, 1988, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Brandyne was a vibrant soul who lived a life filled with love, laughter, and deep connection to family.
He was the beloved son of Latrice A. Jones and the late Eric Christopher Milton, who preceded him in death. Raised in Philadelphia during his early years, Brandyne later relocated to Georgia, where he lived with his grandmother, Darlene Jones-Ghant, who also preceded him in death. He attended school in Screven County and proudly graduated from high school in Statesboro, Georgia.
Brandyne later moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where he flourished both professionally and personally. He built a successful career as a Regional Sales Manager for AT&T, a role he held with great pride. His work ethic, leadership, and charisma left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike.
But it was cooking that truly lit Brandyne’s fire. He graduated from culinary school, an experience that not only refined his skills but also highlighted his natural talent in the kitchen. Cooking was his joy, his therapy, and his love language. Thanksgiving quickly became his favorite holiday, not for the eating, but for the preparation — creating meals that brought people together and filled the room with warmth and laughter.
Though Brandyne never married or had children of his own, his impact was profound. He is survived by his devoted mother, Latrice A. Jones. He also leaves behind his maternal siblings: Blake Jones, and his children Kiersten and Reign; Eric Jones, and his children Eric Jr. and King, along with his longtime partner Tara and their son Jahi; Christian O’Hannon and his fiancée Stephany, and their sons Jericho and Roman; Kaila Williams, née O’Hannon, and her husband Desmon Williams, and their children Kaiden, Jaxon, Lynnex, and Zuri, who is soon to be born; Justin Jones, and his daughters Milan and Milanni; and his youngest brother, Nicholas Simmons. On his paternal side, Brandyne is also survived by his sisters Regina and Taylor, and their children.
Brandyne is further survived by his maternal grandfather, Fred Causey, and his paternal grandparents, Janie Milton and Walter Diggs. He is reunited in rest with his father, Eric Christopher Milton, and his beloved grandmother, Darlene Jones-Ghant.
Brandyne will be remembered for his infectious laughter, his generous heart, and his ability to make others feel truly seen and loved. Whether leading a team, preparing a feast, or being a supportive brother and uncle, he brought sincerity and spirit into everything he did. His absence leaves a deep void, but his memory continues to nourish the hearts of all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, acts of kindness or shared memories in his honor are warmly welcomed.
