Carol Dale Vaughn Goldstein passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family and love. Born on September 20, 1939, Carol lived a full life defined by strength, resilience, and devotion to her family.
Carol was the beloved mother of four children: Darlene Goldstein, Lori Ruhmann, Shari Goldstein, and Sidney Goldstein. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren (one of whom preceded her in death), and a doting great-grandmother to ten great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and purpose to her life.
In her early years, Carol pursued her passion for beauty and style by attending beauty school. She was also an avid seamstress and loved crafts. Later, she dedicated many years to working in the food industry, where her warmth and work ethic left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing her. In the midst of providing for her family she also volunteered as softball coach to her daughters’ softball teams for several years. She eventually retired, having touched the lives of many through both her professional and personal endeavors.
Carol had a generous spirit and was deeply loved by her family, friends, and all who had the fortune to cross her path. Her sense of humor, perseverance, and unwavering love will be remembered always. Additionally she loved baseball and hockey and spent many hours watching her favorite teams the Saint Louis Cardinals and Saint Louis Blues.
She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, devotion, and familial strength. Carol will be dearly missed but forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved her.
