Clovis Eugene Williams, 75, of St. Ann, Missouri, passed away peacefully on September 11, 2025, with his wife, Beth, and his niece, Terri Davis, by his side.
Clovis was born in Newport, Arkansas, on November 6, 1949, to William Walter and Mary Kathryn (Clayton) Williams. He graduated from Arkansas School for the Deaf, Little Rock, in 1968. He was married to Meriam Elizabeth (Beth) Decker on March 20, 1982.
He was very involved and active member of the Gateway Silent Seniors (GSS) and was a member of the Greater St. Louis Association of the Deaf (GSLAD) for many years. He enjoyed his time playing Bingo and being with friends at GSS and GSLAD … his second home.
He is survived by his wife, Beth Williams; fur baby, Cali; loving sister, Barbara Jean Davis; and his sister-in-law, Linda Williams. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
His laughter and smile will be missed by everyone who was lucky enough to know him … because everyone loved him!
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to GSS or GSLAD, 2190 Creve Coeur Mill Road, Maryland Heights, MO 63043.
The Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
