Dale Lee Wilkerson, 64, of Warrenton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at his residence surrounded by family. He was born Nov. 20, 1960, to parents Earl Douglas Wilkerson and Lily Kathryn (Sweeney) Wilburn in Annapolis, Maryland. Dale graduated in 1978 from Jackson High School in Jackson, Ohio.
On May 5, 1990, Dale married the love of his life, Susan Marie Madl. Together, they created a wonderful life. He was an over the road truck driver for over 30 years, where he created wonderful memories with his wife and children. He enjoyed fixing up old cars, and watching classic westerns. He was fond of his dogs and cats, who brought him endless companionship and joy. He was especially thrilled about becoming a grandfather, and would talk to everyone about his joy and pride.
Dale is survived by his wife Susan; Daughter Amber (Chad) Lindsey; sons, Michael Wilkerson, Daniel Wilkerson, Matthew Wilkerson; granddaughter Olive Wilkerson; brothers, Allen (Penny) Wilkerson and Jimmy (Courtney) Wilburn; sisters, Terri Wilburn and Debbie (Dan) Lewis, and many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father James Wilburn; brother Ken Wilkerson; sister Karen Puckett.
Dale’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, and he will be deeply missed.
