Deborah Jayne (Barton) Cerny, 71 of Warrenton, Missouri, peacefully transitioned to her resting place on December 26, 2024. She was born in Trenton, Michigan on August 23, 1953. Deborah was the beloved daughter of Leo H. Barton and Joyce Ann Kagy.
Deborah worked for her late father, Leo H. Barton as a bartender for 25 years. Deborah loved throwing parties and bringing joy to those around her. She always had a great story to tell. After she retired, she took up numerous hobbies which included painting, drawing, traveling and finding new ways to express her creativity. Deborah was also an expert at picking great movies to watch and had a good memory of the characters in the movie and when a movie was made. She was a great friend and was always there no matter what the issue might be. She gave all she had and never asked for anything in return. She was a true friend.
Deborah always saw the world through rose colored glasses, a hippie and free spirit at heart. She is deeply missed and loved by many. She has left behind a legacy of love, laughter and peace.
Deborah Jayne Cerny was preceded in death by her parents Leo H. Barton, Thomas Hoeft, Susan Hoeft, and Joyce Ann Kagy. Her granddaughter Hailey L. Higgins, and her grandparents Woodrow and Helen (Jayne) Kagy, and sister Michelle Kagy.
Deborah Jayne Cerny is survived by her loving husband Donald K. Cerny, daughter Freedom J. Pittman, and son Timothy L. Nahlik (Nikki), Ronald Barton (Brenda), Bradley Barton (Valerie), Samantha Ireland (Jim) Robin, Tommy and Terrell, grandchildren Liberty, Joshua, Waylon, Emily Renee, Sunshine, James, Amber, Jordon, Emily Rose. Great grandchildren Collin, Melody, Raini, Michelle, Grayson, Aunt to Bryan, Cory, Ashley, Great Aunt to Zoie.
