Don Devargas

Don “Nookie” Devargas gained his wings June 2024 in St. Louis, MO at the age of 34.

Don was born on November 1, 1989 in St. Louis, MO to Don Devargas and LaTonia Bell. Don was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Bell; and older brother, Jesse NeelDon was a charming, funny, loving, god-fearing young man. He enjoyed working out and training others. He hoped to one day open up a gym of his own. He loved being outside in nature and animals, especially dogs. When he wasn’t devoted to his family, he was heavily involved in reading and preaching the word of God to anyone who would listen. Don will be greatly missed by his family and friends, as he had so much more life to live.

Don leaves to mourn; his parents, Don Devargas and LaTonia Bell; child, Hakeem Howard; brothers, Maurice Phipps, Marcus Phipps, Jeremeya Bell, and Kinzell Stanciel; sisters, LaToya McDonald, Wankiria Devargas, and Makayla Artis; fiancé, Tia Wynn; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and numerous friends.

Don will be cremated with the family having a private service at a later date.
