Donald "Don" Litle Obituary

Donald "Don" Willis Litle of Florissant, Missouri, passed away May 16, 2026. He was born on October 15, 1951 to the late Willis Earl Litle and Eva Lou (Allred) Litle Boucher at Lockwood Memorial Hospital, Lockwood, Missouri.

He grew up in Dade County, Missouri, enjoying hunting, bonfires and cookouts at the lake, and riding horses. He loved country music and watching old western shows.

Don attended schools in Arcola and graduated Greenfield High Class of 1969. He earned his certificate as a mechanic from Chillicothe Technical College. He worked on cars and boat motors, but could fix about anything.

When Don was 24 years old he had a life-changing accident. While rounding up cattle his horse stumbled causing him to fall off his horse. He was diagnosed with a brain injury that left him paraplegic for the last 50 years of his life.

Don was a member of Parker Road Baptist Church, Florissant, Missouri. His positive outlook and sense of humor were amazing to those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, Delbert Ursey and Ella May (Reed) Allred; paternal grandparents, Russell Lee Litle and Lena (Gannaway) Litle Evans; sisters: Betty Carol (Boucher) Shouse; Carla Jean Boucher.

He is survived by three children, Christopher V. Smith of Grants Pass, Oregon; Crystal Russell of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; Cherish Finley of Bolivar, Missouri; and four grandchildren; three sisters: Barbara (Litle) Bradford of Greenfield, Missouri; Bonnie (Boucher) and husband Roger Delk of Everton, Missouri; Deanna Boucher of Springfield, Missouri; four brothers: Ronald L. Litle; Frank and wife Edith Boucher; Joe Boucher, all of Greenfield, Missouri; Eddie Boucher of Springfield, Missouri.

Don enjoyed life and will be sadly missed by family and friends.
