Elora Joan Masnica, 83 yrs old of Barnhart, MO passed away on January 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Elora was born in St. Louis, MO on February 6, 1942, to Walter Hoppe and Fern Hoppe. She was the oldest sibling, and she had two sisters Butch Harris; Paula Fisher (Robert) and two brothers Terry Hoppe (Sharron); Jean Hoppe (Regina). She attended Riverview Gardens High School.
Elora worked for Riverview Gardens School District for forty plus years before she retired from there. Then she went to work for Dairy Queen part time for seventeen plus years before retiring from there.
Elora loved to travel, making crafts and dressing up for Halloween. She was known as the costume lady at the school district. She also loved and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Elora is survived by her three children Donna Eakins (Jim) of Barnhart, MO; Timothy Masnica (Sue) of Wentzville, MO; Dawn Marshall (Dave Beck) of St. Peters, MO. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She proceeds the death of her parents and her son, William Manisca.
Elora (Mom; Grandma; Great-Grandma; Sister; Aunt) will be missed and forever hold a special place in our hearts!
Celebration of Life will be held later.
