Frankie A. Kalkreuth (Evans) of Wright City, MO, made her final journey on July 5th, 2026. She passed in her sleep at the age of 79. She was born in Cartersville, GA on March 1st, 1947 to James Evans and Bernice Lancaster (Evans, Tilly), both deceased.
She was married multiple times, four, to be exact. Two husbands in Ft. Lauderdale and Tampa, Florida and two in Marietta, GA. She was a magnet and had a large personality even though she was only 5'2"! Her whole world was always her dogs, the last one, Barkley, left her earlier this year to meet her on her spiritual journey. Although she would allow cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish and other critters into her home, she always preferred the cuddles of a pup. She also loved to watch the wildlife out her window even though she was never an outdoorsy type of person. Except for flea markets. She loved thrifting and going to the flea markets for great bargains! She loved to shop and her latest obsession was Temu since she could no longer be physically active.
Frankie is survived by her brother, Jimmy Evans and his family; her daughters Justice Barber of Atlanta, GA and Lisa Luter of Wright City, MO. She is also survived by her grandchildren Quinn Barber, Katherine Luter and Daniel Luter and two great-grand children.
Her spunk and stubbornly feisty spirit will be missed.
