It is with great sadness that the family of Glenda Watson announce her passing.
Glenda Watson, age 74, of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away on March 16, 2025 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born April 14, 1950 in Sikeston, Missouri to her loving parents, James and Ellen Beardsley.
Glenda enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the lake, fishing, and boating. Glenda cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who was always there when we needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, and love in abundance.
Glenda is survived by her three children: William Watson II, Keri Villadolid (Rommel), and Matthew Watson (Dawn). She is also survived by six beautiful grandchildren: Kylie Villadolid, Ethan Watson, Colt-James Watson, Mattie Watson, Brooklyn Watson, and William Watson III.
We give thanks to You, O Lord, for the gift of our mother’s life - a life marked by love, sacrifice, and unwavering faith. She walked in Your ways, guided by Your truth, and her legacy of love will forever be etched upon our hearts. In the depth of our loss, we cling to Your promise that “those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of joy” (Psalm 126:5). May Your comforting presence surround us like a gentle embrace, soothing our weary souls and filling us with hope for the days ahead.
