Ida Frances Duncan

Ida Frances (Owens) Duncan of Festus Missouri was born February 6, 1936 in Williamsville, Missouri, she died August 7, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Luther and Bertha (Groves) Owens, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Eva and Ruth, six brothers: Thurman; Calvin; Glen; Carl (Gene); James (Jim) and Bobby (Bob). 

Ida married William (Bill) Duncan on July 24, 1950 and had seven children. Ida was preceded in death by two sons, Donald (Donnie) Duncan; Ralph Duncan and one granddaughter Sara Combs.

Ida is survived by daughters, Billie Dutton (Norvel) of DeSoto Missouri; Dawn Burke of Newtown, Alabama; and Mary Duncan (Jason) of Arnold Missouri. Two sons, Robert (Bob) Duncan (Deborah) of Bonita Springs, Florida and William (Ted) Duncan of Ste. Genevieve; one sister, Ruby and four sisters-in-law, Dorothy Owens; Joan Owens; Diane Woodward and Faith Tayon; fifteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great grandchildren; twelve great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering is planned for a later date.
