James "Jimmy" Lee Greathouse

James Lee Greathouse, 82, of Troy MO, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026.

James Lee Greathouse, “Jimmy” was born to the late Leonard and Mildred (Buchanan) Greathouse on December 11, 1943, in Kansas City, MO.

Jimmy was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was unwaveringly loyal, a rock, to those who knew and loved him. Jimmy was protective, fierce, devoted, stubborn, and all in, always.

He once said, ‘Imagine what I could do with what I know now if I had a younger body.’ Jimmy’s last day was spent with people he loved, playing a game of pool.

In the end “he broke even,” and in his memory, we all “found an ace that we could keep.”
