John D. Wooten, 54, of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. Born on October 19, 1970, John was a man of quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved.
John lived a life rooted in kindness and hard work. A devoted son, brother, father, and friend, he was known for his easy smile, sense of humor, and willingness to lend a hand. He took pride in the simple joys of life — a good meal, time with family, music that moved the soul, and conversations that lasted well into the night.
John leaves to cherish his memories a son- Storm John White, Brothers- Terrell Wooten, Mack Bynum, Miles Bynum and Fred Bynum. Sisters- Tammy Wooten, Lavern Grayer and Deborah Tabb(Tommy) Paternal Uncles- Theophilus Caldwell(Helen) and Miles Bynum, A very close and dear friend Michael Adams and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family who will carry his memory forward with love.
Though his time with us was far too short, John's spirit remains in every life he touched. His legacy is one of love, laughter, resilience, and deep connection.
