Linda Marie Coleman, 77, of Perryville, Missouri, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away surrounded by the love of the family who meant everything to her.
Linda was a mother, daughter, sister, friend, and above all else a grandmother. Being a grandmother was not just a part of her life it was her life. It was where she found her greatest joy, her deepest purpose, and her most treasured memories.
Her grandchildren were the loves of her life. They were her heart walking outside of her body. Every sacrifice she made, every worry she carried, every prayer she whispered, and every ounce of love she had was poured into them. She loved them with a fierceness that words can hardly describe. Nothing was ever too much to ask of her when it came to her grandchildren. She would move mountains for them if she could, and many would say she spent her life trying.
Linda never measured her wealth by what she owned, but by the smiles of her grandchildren, the sound of their laughter, and the moments she spent with them. Whether she was offering comfort, encouragement, guidance, or simply a place to feel safe and loved, she gave them the very best of herself. Her greatest pride was watching them grow, and her greatest happiness was knowing they knew how deeply they were loved.
She was also stubborn, strong-willed, and a fighter through and through. When life became difficult, Linda faced it with determination and grit. She carried burdens without complaint and endured hardships with a strength that inspired those around her. Her stubbornness was part of what made her so special it was the same stubbornness that refused to give up on the people she loved and the same fighting spirit that carried her through life's toughest moments.
Those who knew Linda will remember her loving heart, her unwavering loyalty, and the way she always put others before herself. She gave without expecting anything in return and loved without conditions. Her family was her world, and she spent her life making sure they knew it.
The loss of Linda leaves an emptiness that cannot be filled, but the love she gave will remain forever. Her family finds comfort in knowing that her legacy is not found in material things, but in the lives she touched, the memories she created, and the family she loved so completely.
She will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered.
To her grandchildren: her love for you did not end when her life did. It lives on in every lesson she taught, every memory you share, and every part of who you are. You were her greatest blessing, her proudest accomplishment, and the reason her heart was always full.
Rest peacefully, Linda. The love you gave so freely will carry on for generations.
