Linda Nowicki Obituary

Linda Rae Nowicki passed away at age 76 on Sunday February 9th, 2025 in her home, surrounded by her family. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She was born in St. Louis, MO to Juanita & Douglas Strecker in 1948. She lived most of her life in House Springs, MO.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Nowicki, to whom she was married for 56 years. Together they raised their four children - Nicole Nowicki; Tony (Analissa) Nowicki; Natalie (Steven) Melkowski; and Nina Nowicki; and two Grandchildren Lyanna Nowicki and Nadia Nowicki. She was preceded in death by her daughter Nora, her Father and Mother, and her sister Sandy.

She was known for her warm hospitality, her faith, and her generosity. She had wit, determination, humor, and loved to talk. Linda had a vivacious personality and was very outgoing, aectionate, and expressive. She loved the arts and valued creativity. She had a deep love for her family and a passion for cooking. She was a cooking teacher, was honored with awards for her art projects in High School, and was very studious. She was a faithful servant of Jehovah God for over 63 years.

Linda’s memory will remain in the hearts of her family and friends, until they are able to see her again in the resurrection as promised in the Bible. Revelation 21:4. “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Linda’s strong faith bolstered her throughout her lifetime and during her final days. She loved sharing her hope of a better future with all.

 

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025

A slideshow and talk will begin at 3:00 p.m.
