Lindsay Kodelya Hicks, 42, of St. Louis, Missouri was received into the loving arms of Jesus on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024. Loving daughter of Francis Joseph Kodelya and the late Kelly Leigh Rehm and stepdaughter to James P. Gholson. Dear sister to (four siblings) Katherine Kodelya, James M Gholson, Jacob Gholson, and Jacquelyn Gholson and aunt to Haley; Beloved mother of (two children) Trinity Prada (Downey) and Alexander Hicks.
Lindsay was born at St. Luke’s Des Peres Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, on November 4, 1981. She was raised in Florissant, MO. Lindsay graduated from Hazelwood West High School in 2000 and shortly after became a mother to her first child, Trinity Prada (Downey). She went on to attend Florissant Valley Community College and later earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management in 2008 at Athens State University in Alabama. In 2011, she earned a Master’s Degree in Acquisition & Contract Management from the Florida Institute of Technology. She was an employee for the Department of Defense for over 10 years in Huntsville, AL. In 2011, Lindsay had her second child, Alexander Hicks.
Her favorite hobbies were crafts, music, and going to concerts. In her youth, she participated in sports: soccer and softball.
Lindsay was survived by two children: Trinity Prada (Downey), of St. Louis; Alexander Hicks, of Hazel Green.
