Michael Shawn Dublo

God called my beloved son, Michael Shawn Dublo, home on March 21, 2025.  He was born on September 4, 1975 in Jerseyville, IL to the late Carl F. Dublo, who preceded him in death in 2021 and to Vivian I. (Fry) Drainer.  His step-dad, Mark A. Drainer, loved and will miss him so much.  Michael’s partner, Jennifer Bultena, has shared many years of love and life with Michael and was with him till he left this world.  Michael was preceded in death by his son Dallas M. Fry in 2024.  Surviving children are:  Brodie S. Fecht, Sean M. Whitlock (step-son), Connor M. Rhone, Loki M. Rhone, and Clover M. Dublo. Michael has two surviving half-sisters by his father, Carl:  Jessica Watts Kimbrel and Cyndy Lynn Bowman.

Michael lived a life full of love and kindness along with having a fun loving nature.  The cherished moments will be remembered and felt by his family and friends, who truly knew him as he was. He loved animals, especially, cats & birds and had many pets throughout his lifetime.

Michael leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and dedication. His spirit is with God but his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him and love him.  Rest in peace, my son, your life was a beautiful story of love, strength, and unwavering dedication. You will be deeply missed, but you are now free from your pain and suffering.
