Richard proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy and carried that same sense of dedication and integrity throughout his life. Richard is survived by his two sons, Andrew Gile and his wife Christina Gile of Puxico, Missouri, and Josh Gile and his wife Jessica Gile of Troy, Missouri. He was a loving grandfather to Asia, Trinity, Pierce, and Calli, as well as Zoe and Aubrie. He also leaves behind his nieces, Lodanna Gile and Jennifer Sanders, both of Wichita, Kansas.
Richard had a deep love for animals, especially his beloved cat, Tommy. He enjoyed tending to his garden, spending time outdoors, and being a kind, dependable neighbor. His gentle spirit and warm heart touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Richard will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and the quiet strength he brought into the lives of his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he loved most.
