Richard Roark, 84, of Saint Louis, Missouri passed away on March 22nd of 2025. He was Born on November 1st of 1940 in Eudora KS to Harry and Pearl Roark.
Ricahrd Graduated from Washington Highschool and studied at the University of Arkansas briefly, before he went on to pursue a career in sales and electronic distribution. Richard was passionate about his loving wife of 47 years, Zoe Roark and the beautiful life they fostered together. Richard enjoyed raising and training field trial dogs, shotgun sports like skeet and trap shooting, hunting, fishing, collecting and searching for arrowheads, coaching YMCA and JCCA basketball teams and sports cars. He accomplished so much in his sales career to have an entire bookshelf with glass awards and trophies from top closer and salesman to best dad.
Richard is survived by his two sons, Jeff and Ryan Roark.
A funeral and memorial Service will be held on ( April 5th 2025 ) at ( 1:00 PM ) at ( Trinity Lutheran Church ) ( 3765 McKelvey Rd, Bridgeton, MO 63044 )
There will be a short service followed by a memorial service that will be attached to the church. There will be food provided but if you wish, you may bring food too.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the COPD Foundation or to the American Lung Association.
It's hard to say goodbye to someone who has helped and changed so many people's lives. Richard will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all those that knew him. Since the passing of his beautiful wife Zoe in August of 2024, It has been the most time they have been apart in their entire 47 years of marriage. Richard finally gets to go see his beautiful wife again, forever.
