Rose Marie Island

Rose Marie Island (Rice), 56, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away on April 21st, 2026.

She was born on April 16th, 1970 in Saint Louis, Missouri to Thanuel Rice and Alistia Wells. 

Rose was an extremely giving person and will always be remembered for her kindness and unintentional humor. 

Rose loved keeping up with friends and family online, playing games, and spoiling her dog, Harley. 

Rose is survived by her daughter Crystal Van Den Heuvel (Island) and her son Brandon Island; her granddaughters Hallynd Demery, Charlotte Demery, and Annabelle Van Den Heuvel and her grandson Lucas Island; her siblings Jackie Rice, Danny Rice, Charley Rice, Loretta House (Rice), and Aletha Thompson (Rice). She was preceded in death by her daughter Nicole Nations (Melton).
