Trevor Ramone Robinson passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on April 17, 1969, to William and Katie Robinson, Trevor was preceded in death by both of his parents. After their divorce, Katie remarried and he was lovingly raised by Joe and Katie Doss, who provided the foundation for his strength, humor, and deep sense of family.
Trevor grew up in Carbondale, Illinois, and attended Carbondale Community High School, where he played varsity football for the Terriers. His passion for life extended beyond the field and into the hearts of everyone who knew him.
Trevor shared a special bond with his former partner, Loretta McIntyre, and together they had two children: Trevor Robinson, Jr., of Oklahoma, and Trenishia Robinson of St. Louis, Missouri. He was always quick to smile and brought that joy to those around him.
A skilled member of the culinary staff, Trevor dedicated much of his professional life to serving others, most recently at Chestnut Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in St. Louis. Outside of work, Trevor was known for his love of music. Whether spinning records as a local DJ or simply hanging out with friends and family, his soundtrack always brought people together.
Trevor is survived by his stepfather, Joe Doss; his brother, William Robinson, Jr., and his sister, Senee Mobley—all of Florida. He also leaves behind his beloved children, his former partner Loretta McIntyre, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Trevor’s life was one marked by resilience, rhythm, and love. He leaves behind memories filled with laughter, music, and a quiet strength that will continue to inspire all who knew him.
